The ‘Deer and Discovery’ Package combines something new with something old, offering classic experiences in the Nara Prefecture with new and unique adventures in Kyoto that are more bespoke in nature.

Start off with 2 nights in the old capital of Japan, Kyoto. Traverse through some of the prefecture’s beautiful landscapes on the Sagano Romantic Train (Round-trip tickets included) where seasonal flora add to the spectacle no matter the time of year. Finish up with the included Amanohashidate and Ine Funaya day trip- witnessing Amanohashidate Bay- one of Japan’s 3 most scenic views, as well as the quaint traditional fishing village of Ine Funaya- boasting beautiful waters and a picturesque landscape.

Nara Prefecture is where the next 2 nights are spent, being uncovered in the included Nara Half-Day Walking Tour. Visit one of the oldest wooden buildings in the world- Todaij-i temple, as well as the Great Buddah Statue that lies within, not to mention many other spectacles- and don’t forget the Deer!
