We returned from our Japan tour last Sunday. What a wonderful experience seeing the large cities of Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo and then enjoying the 8 day tour managed by JTB Sunrise Tours. The running of the tour was excellent and efficient and gave us a wide variety of city and country living. We were fortunate to also see some early cherry blossom blooms towards the end of the trip. The respective tour guides were all very proficient but special mention goes to Sumiko Fukami who led us over two/three days visiting the sights of Takayama, Shirakawa-go and Kanazawa. Sumiko made us feel very welcome and was a most informative and obliging guide. I will also be sending Sunrise Tours an email letting them know of our appreciation.
Hiroko, thanks for all your organising and attention to our needs. It made for a very enjoyable time.
