Arrive at hotel and free time.

Osaka – Himeji – Inbe – Okayama 
Travel to Himeji and visit Himeji Castle then continue onto Inbe, a small town famous for its pottery.After Inbe onto Okayama visiting Korakuen, one of Japanese prettiest gardens, with its lakes, waterfalls and traditional tea houses.

Okayama – Kurashiki – Itsukushima – Hiroshima
Depart for Kurashiki, a city with a very well conserved historical centre, then onto Miyajimaguchi and take the ferry to Miyajima Island. In the afternoon onto Hiroshima, visiting the Peace Memorial Park.

Hiroshima – Matsuyama 
Take a ferry to Shikoku Island, on a pleasant crossing that lasts two hours and a half and see the many islands that make up Japan. In Matsuyama take a cable car up to its impressive castle. After this visit Ishiteji and Dogo Onsen, a traditional Japanese bath facility built in the 19th century.

Matsuyama – Kotohira – Takamatsu – Naruto – Tokushima
Depart for Kotohira, a Shinto shrine dedicated to the God of sailors and a place of pilgrimage. Then onto Takamatsu to visit Ritsurin, a famous garden in Japan. Cross an impressive bridge over the sea, stopping on the way to admire the construction and walk on its glass floor with the sea 450 metres below. Then continue onto Tokushima, famous as the home of the most important festival in Japan and watch a colourful Japanese dance performance.

Tokushima – Kobe – Osaka
Travel to Kobe and visit Kawasaki World, an amazing museum that tells us of the technological prowess of this company, which builds motorbikes, planes, high-speed trains and construction technology. Then continue to Osaka in time for lunch and tour will conclude shortly after.

Travel to Kobe and visit Kawasaki World, an amazing museum. Then onto Mt Koya, one of Japan’s sacred mountains and Japan’s main centre of Shingon Buddhism visiting, Okuno Mausoleum, Kongobuji Temple and spend the night at a Buddhist monastery with a vegetarian dinner.

Mt Koya – Kyoto
Japanese breakfast at the temple, then leave early for Kyoto city visiting, Fushimi Inari, Imperial Palace and Kinkakuji temple. Free time afterwards before visiting Gion, a busy traditional quarter famous for its Geisha.

Kyoto – Nara – Osaka
Travel to Arashiyama and cross the Togetsukyo Bridge, visit Tenryuji temple and a walk through the mystic bamboo forest. Then leave for Nara city and visit Todaiji temple and Nara deer park, Horyuju Buddhist temple then continue onto Osaka in the evening. Visit Dotonbori, a colourful district filled with night life. After this, the tour will conclude.
