Suggested Itinerary

Day 1:  Sapporo-> Otaru 1hr 
Day 2: Otaru -> Noboribetsu 2hrs 
Day 3: Noboribetsu -> Lake Toya 1hr
Day 4-5: Lake Toya -> Hakodate 2.5 hrs

DAY 1: OTARU

A small harbour city known for its glasswork and Sake distilleries . Its beautifully preserved canal area and interesting herring mansions make Otaru a pleasant place to explore. An additional sightseeing option is to continue passed Otaru to the Shakotan Peninsula for spectacular ocean views.

DAY 2: NOBORIBETSU ONSEN

Hokkaido’s famous hot spring resort offering as many as 11 different kinds of thermal waters that are considered among Japan’s best! The town consists of numerous Japanese style accommodations with open air baths.

DAY 3: LAKE TOYA

Many of the properties in this area have lake views . Enjoy a relaxing time and even see nightly fireworks from May to October .

DAY 4-5: HAKODATE

This port city was one of the first to open to foreign trade and many of the warehouses from that era have been converted into shops and cafes. The night view from
Mt Hakodate is considered one of the top in Japan and the star shaped Fort Goryokaku is a unique sightseeing spot . From Hakodate the bullet train connects Hokkaido with Japan’s main island Honshu .
