Located near the mountain trailhead, Konpon Chudo is a temple hall that’s said to be Japan’s oldest structure made of beech wood. It is a designated important cultural property. It has about 500 years of history, discovered by mine workers at Nobesawa Ginzan which flourished as a large silver mine during the early Edo period (1603-1868). Ginzan Onsen
Ginzan Onsen is filled with a retro atmosphere where visitors can feel as if they've traveled back in time. This traditional hot spring town features wooden hot spring lodgings lining both banks of the Ginzan River, a townscape so scenic that a government ordinance has been passed to preserve it. Revel in the nostalgic atmosphere while enjoying a stroll around the hot spring town.

There are many stone steps at Yama-dera (Hojusan Risshaku-ji Temple). Wearing shoes easy to walk in is recommended.
Snowfall is expected in winter. Wearing snow boots or other shoes that protect against snow is recommended.
