THE EXPERIENCE

It is a 4-5 hour round trip course to Taikoiwa rock. It is popular as a spot where you can admire the pristine forests of Yakushima, including Yakusugi, which is over 1,000 years old. The panoramic view of Mt. Miyanoura, the highest peak in Kyushu, from Taikoiwa rock is a refreshing view that makes you forget the tiredness of mountain climbing.
