Sagano Scenic Railway

The Sagano Romantic train is a sightseeing line that travels from Saga station to Kameoka station. Passengers can enjoy the stunning views of Hozukyo Ravine. A single way takes approx. 25 minutes.

Hozu-gawa River Boat Ride

The hozugawa-kudari is the best rivever boat ride in Japan.Once on the boat,you will enjoy a 16 kilometer,two hour jouney from Tanba-Kameoka to Arashiyama in Kyoto.Experience the exciting rapids and mysterious deep pools through the ravine in the beautiful seasonal scenery.
[Guidelines to follow when boarding the Hozugawa River Boat Ride.]

1. Boarding the boat is only allowed for those who wear life jackets properly.
2. Individuals who are experiencing any symptoms of illness are prohibited from boarding the boat.
3. Individuals using wheelchairs need to be accompanied by an attendant, even if they can transfer to a seat independently.(Wheelchairs cannot be brought onto the boat.)
4. Children under elementary school can apply for free but will not be provided with seats. If you require a seat, please apply as a "Child (6-12 years old)".

Arashiyama : Tenryuji Temple, Bamboo Forest, etc.

Arashiyama is in the western outskirts of Kyoto, considered as one of the most famous sightseeing spots amongst both Japanese and overseas tourists. The main shopping street and the famous Togetsu-kyo Bridge over the River Katsura are considered as the centre of Arashiyama. Things to do in Arashiyama: Bamboo Grove, Tenryu-ji, Okochi-Sanso Villa and etc.
