THE EXPERIENCE

Noboribetsu
Jigokudani, also known as Hell Valley, is a famous volcanic valley located in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, Japan. It is renowned for its otherworldly landscape of steaming vents, sulfurous streams, and rugged terrain. Visitors can explore walking paths amidst the geothermal activity.

Lake Toya Onsen Town
Lake Toya Onsen is celebrated for its serene setting alongside Lake Toya, one of the country's most picturesque caldera lakes. The onsen town is where visitors can unwind in mineral-rich hot spring foot baths while enjoying breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. It's a perfect destination for relaxation and rejuvenation amidst nature's beauty. There is a foot bath that you can enjoy high quality hot spring.

Showa-shinzan
It is a volcano that has been certified as a "UNESCO Global Geopark" in many categories and is also called the Miracle Mountain'' due to its unusual origin.

Showa-shinzan Bear Farm
A popular spot where you can meet powerful bears, mainly brown bears. You can feed them apples and cookies and be soothed by the cute behavior of the cubs.

Usuzan Ropeway
Enjoy a 6-minute walk in the air while taking in the spectacular views from Lake Toya to Mt. Yotei. At the Mt. USU Terrace at the summit station, which opened in 2021, you can now relax and enjoy the spectacular view from a sofa or cafe.

Silo observation deck
A spectacular viewpoint with a panoramic view of the sparkling blue Lake Toya. The most popular item at the souvenir shop is Silo Observatory's original Toyako Caramel Pudding'', which has a sweet caramel flavor and a smooth, creamy texture.

The tour will run on a different itinerary after Jigokudani visit on Jan 12th & 16th because The Usuzan Ropeway is closed due to legal inspection.

If you have booked a plan with a ticket, the admission ticket to Jidaimura is included in the tour price. If not, as the Jidaimura ticket is not included, please purchase your tickets on the day of the tour.

In winter, the sun sets earlier and there are fewer walkable areas due to snow, so the length of stay at each stop may be adjusted by 10 to 15 minutes.

  • This tour is available on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, except for the following dates: March 6th, 8th, 13th, 18th, and 25th, 2025; April 1st and 5th, 2025; May 13th and 17th, 2025; and in February 2025, it is only available on the 22nd, 23rd, and 27th.

  • If you have booked a plan with a ticket, the admission ticket to Jidaimura is included in the tour price. If not, as the Jidaimura ticket is not included, please purchase your tickets on the day of the tour.

  • Itinerary may change due to weather and road conditions.

  • It is possible to bring in suitcases, but we may refuse to bring in too large items. We are not responsible for any loss of your own luggage.

  • There are other passengers on the bus, so please refrain from talking in a loud voice.

  • There is no toilet on the bus.

  • Please refrain from drinking alcohol on the bus.

  • After the tour has started, no refunds will be made even if the facility is closed.

  • Please note that depending on the situation, the bus may be a small bus, microbus, minibus, or van.

  • There is no rental of umbrellas in case of rain. Please bring your own.
