Extremely helpful

Wednesday, March 9th, 2011

Good Morning Hideko

Just a short e-mail to let you know that Chris & I had a great time at Hakuba even though we didn’t get a lot of powder snow. All your travel documentation and directions were extremely helpful and it made things very easy to find our way. Both the accommodation at in Tokyo and Hakuba was of a high standard and most impressed with the service at the High Mount Hotel from Joe and the staff.

Regards

David

You also went out of your way

Nathan, thank you for a terrific 6 days and there’s no doubt that without you, we would still be asleep in the ANA Kyoto. Booking wakeup calls certainly showed your commitment to the task. You also went out of your way to assist us in finding gifts, bars, coffees etc. Thank you for that.
Yours sincerely,

David

You did A1 job.

Dear JTB,

Thank you very much for your wonderful, flawless service for our Tokyo Marathon Trip. Allan has just come back to Office and feverishly shared his wonderful experience. Everyone said that this was the best trip ever.
They especially thanked Nathan. You did A1 job. Thank you very much.

I just wanted to say thank you

Wednesday, February 16th, 2011

Lily,

I just wanted to say thank you for making our initial booking for our trip to Japan. We had a wonderful time and will definitely ski in Shiga Kogen again. The Sunroute was a great venue and I would highly recommend it for first time travellers to Japan. They always had someone available to help with English and their setup for meals was ideal for anyone who was unsure of Japanese food. They offered both Japanese and western style food in a cafeteria setup for breakfast and dinner.

thanks again,

Kim

Every time we would book with JTB

Dear Lily;

Thanks for your help with our recent trip to Japan. We had a good time there….and plenty of walking. I will quickly ring you to say thank you and to also say next time and every time we would book with JTB.

Regards Chris and Rita.

A quick hotel report.
Hotel Nikko Narita.
Bus at the airport across the road…ready and waiting. Great…good breakfast…no noise…7 Eleven down the road 200 metres.

Shinyokohama Kokusai Hotel
My choice…good location for Shinkansen. But!!!!! They do not turn off the heating.
Totally stupid. That forces you to open the window to let in fresh air. Leaving you with outside traffic noise. Breakfast voucher…is enough to get you going.
Can’t recommend it because of the heating.

Royal Park Inn Nagoya
What a lovely hotel…which will be demolished next year. Nice room…bigger….older style. Heating is left on in Winter….but it is not connected until you turn it on.. Relief…nice and cool. Drink voucher supplied….a nice touch. Nice and civilised in the lounge. And a good variety of drinks ( non alchoholic ) We paid for breakfast…1650 yen….but very good 4 the price.
Good selection….lovely Danish pastries. A great hotel.Fairly close to the station.
And they allowed us to leave our bags in the foyer without charge until 1.30…while we visited Nagoya Castle. I did offer to pay a fee but they said no.

Cross Hotel Osaka
Great. Beautiful upgraded room with a special Japanese shower and bath. Around the corner is the Shinsaibashi arcade. Breakfast reduced to 1300 yen…and we were happy enough.

Everything just works in Japan…but homework helps.
Thank you for the good plane seats both ways.

Chris and Rita.

Thanks for your efforts

Lily,
The Japan Ski trip was excellent. Great powder days ….. better than Whistler or Aspen and Vail (our previous ski trips).

No issues with the bookings and tour arrangements…. all went better than expected.

We preferred Niseko to Rusutsu. Niseko had more of a ski village feel / atmosphere.
The snow was good to excellent. The Kogen Hotel was very convenient to all facilities as well as being ski in / ski out location. Rusutsu Resort North South Wing had good facilities and the skiing was excellent … great powder days however the resort had a shopping mall feel.

Thanks for your efforts with our bookings it was appreciated. I look forward to giving you further business in the future.

Jim & David

Hi Clem,

Just a short note to thank you for your assistance in organising our holiday in Japan. We had a brilliant time and we enjoyed your recommendations and the places you booked for us. Your advice was spot on.

Thank you also for taking the trouble to ring me in relation to the accomodation issue in Kyoto.

I shall recommend you and your company to any friends I have who are going to Japan

Regards,

Julia

Thank you for your effort

Hideko

All went well and we really enjoyed it. Snow in Canada wasn’t as good as normal. However, Niseko made up for it. Plenty of snow, and clear days (or part days). Perfect weather.

JAL was very good as usual, and the Hilton was very good. We will definitely go back to Niseko and stay at the Hilton. It seems to be in a quieter area than Hirafu, and access to the gondola was just outside. The chair lifts and buses in Niseko were good and we were able to get around with ease. We’re already thinking about going to Japan next year. Everyone always seems to be polite and we can get around easily (even though we only know a couple of words of Japanese). Just need to get over coming back to the heat and humidity.

Thank you for your efforts, I know I changed it a couple of times, but, all worked in well, and there were no problems with connections. I’ll probably leave it until a bit later this year to book, so we don’t change our minds. But we’re thinking of only going to Japan in 2012, and going back to Hakuba and then up to Niseko. But it’s only February, so we have plenty of time to think.

Thank you again.

Kind Regards

Maree

I never would have found it without your help.

Dear Clem

An update to say a huge thank you.

The trip has gone really well, thank you to all your hard work.
Unfortunately it is nearly over.

I have enjoyed everything very much and am happy to update you further after your return from your trip. I have also today, thanks to your hard work in finding it for me and your detailed instructions, found Kiddyland in Osaka, and spent up on Snoopy stuff. I never would have found it without your help.

I will send the photos to you on a disc after your return.

I have to start thinking about my next trip!

best wishes
Judith

We will be using JTB again

Monday, January 31st, 2011

Hi Olivia

Just wanting to let you know we had a great time and will be using JTB again and recommending you to anyone that is traveling to Japan. We loved Japan the people and the food was amazing.

We did have a small accident though while we were skiing and my son Matthew broke his leg. He is OK now and happy, but it meant that we missed part of the second week of skiing. I was hoping if it is possible please to get the breakdown of costs just for Rusutsu resort accomodation as after the accident Matthew and I were unable to ski and I am hoping that I can claim some of this back from the insurance company.

If you would please be so kind as to let me know just what the costs were I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Despina
