Sapporo Maruyama Zoo
Maruyama Zoo opened in 1951 with a giant eagle. Animals are displayed in habitats that are as close as possible to their original living environment. About 150 species and 900 animals live here. The zoo can be enjoyed throughout the year in all four seasons. The polar bear pavilion and the elephant house are popular among the locals.

Hokkaido Shrine
Hokkaido Shrine is a guardian deity that watches over the development of Hokkaido and the happiness of its people. It is said to bring blessings such as increased money, good fortune, and luck in business. People from all walks of life visit the shrine throughout the year, and you can feel the collaboration with nature in each season. Learn how to visit the shrine before you visit!

Shiroi Koibiro Park
This is the factory where Shiroi Koibito, a staple of Sapporo's confectionery, is made. This is a chocolate entertainment facility where you can see, know, taste, and experience chocolate. Not only is it a place to buy sweets, but the exterior of the factory is also very fairytale-like and is sure to be a photo-worthy spot. You can enjoy it all year round.
